According to Dan Rafael, Golden Boy will make these two fights available in theaters across the country due to the success they had with Mayweather-Marquez. Hopkins-Jones II will be available in anywhere from 150 to 200 theaters while Mayweather-Mosley will be available in more than 400 theaters (which is nearly double the amount of theaters who carried Mayweather-Marquez).

Ticket prices will be between $20-$25, with Hopkins-Jones II being slightly cheaper.

I knew they planned to do this for Mayweather-Mosley, but had no idea they'd be doing it for Hopkins-Jones II. This is good news. Hopefully, I can catch these at a local theater this go around.

I'm not particularly inclined to pay for either of these fights, but I would like to experience a boxing match in a theater.

I much prefer the bar scene with the boys.I will spend my $25 on beer and wings and watch the fight for free at the pub.
I will however pass on the old timers "fight".Hopkins and Jones just does not impress me at all.

Thanks for the news as always, Antwuan. I think I'll try to find a theater for Hopkins-RJJ, since I'm not really looking to pay 50 for that one.

Excellent news, indeed. Cheap compared to PPV and seats.

take it from someone who has watched the MP-Morales 2, the MP-Hatton and the MP-Cotto PPV fight cards in cinemas, I highly recommend it.

    It's a great experience.

Comfy seats, huge wide screen, good air conditioning and great atmosphere (especially if the theater's full and everybody's all fired up already)

Tip: If possible, choose the center seats, around the 6th to 10th row from the front.

Great acoustics and you're right in front of the big screen.

LOL, the people who pay to see the Hopkins/Jones fight will be paying for a $15 sleeping pill. You know half the theater will be asleep by the 6th round.

 That may be the case, but like I said, $15 > $50. Not paying that much for a GBP PPV card that should've happened 10 years ago.

It's a lil expensive but it'll be worth it to watch a whole fight card on a theatre screen looking forward to you.

I'm so there for Mayweather vs. Mosley.

I'm so not for Hopkins vs. Jones.

I feel your frustration. Don't count on it, all of the theaters that are playing this if I remember correctly are owned by either a Golden Boy investor/officer or by a close friend of one of the Golden Boy officers.
