Yvon Michel has said to a reporter that Dawson would choose his opponent between Diaconu and Dawson in a couple of days.

Who do you think he'll take?

If I was his promoter, I would take Diaconu. Big reach advantage, Diaconu is not very busy and lacks of stamina. Easier fight for Dawson than Diaconu, who would push Dawson to his heart limit.

HBO or Showtime had to put up at least $2 million for the Dawson vs Pascal rematch. They could have gotten Dawson out of the picture by putting up less than 2 million for the Pascal vs Dawson rematch. Contractually if I understood what they were saying, the rematch was only happening if HBO or Showtime put up a certain dollar amount.

So, if you were Dawson, who would you choose as an opponent? Diaconu or Andrade?

    Whoever pays more.

    Diaconu is the easier opponent

Yvon Michel said they were pushing for Diaconu. I guess that he would pay more!

So was Dawson paid some step aside money or is Shaw going to sue?

The rematch was conditional to HBO approval! HBO prefer to see Pascal-Hopkins 2 and Dawson suppose to have a shot a the winner if he win his next fight!

No. As said in other posts, HBO had to put at least the same money as the last time to make Dawson-Pascal 2 happen. They chose to make Hopkins-Pascal 2 and Dawson has to wait. No possible pursuit.

Can't wait to see where the location is going to be this time. Canada was great with the fight, not suggesting otherwise, the only mistake there was the first knockdown call.

The ref was American, so the location won't prevent this to happen again.

I think GYM promotion won't have the last word on the location. If the fight is in Quebec, that will mean that everybody will be happy to come here. More $$$.

Depends if it's a PPV or not maybe?
