ESPN : Hopkins-Pascal II HBO, May 21st. Dawson vs. Diaconu/Andrade?

Good question Laffie, if Dawson wants to improve his name, I'd choose Diaconnu. If he wants the easy path, I think it's Andrade.

Andrade's spirit in my opinion died in the first Bute/Andrade.

I would really like to see, Dawson/Diaconnu. This fight will take every oz of fuel in each fighters imo.

Anyways I'm interested to see if Steward helped Dawson grow a brain, or whether Pascal can come back in a rematch. Will watch.

 

I think Diaconu is the easy path for Dawson, stylistically. Diaconu has a low workrate and fades after the 8th round. He is short but has power, which provides him his only way to win. I see a pretty easy win for Dawson, unless he get caught.

Andrade is another story. I see Dawson winning easily on points but in a more difficult fight. I don't think Andrade's spirit has died. Dawson would put him back on track and he would be very motivated.

I think Dawson will take Diaconu, which is a name at 175 for quite some time now.

Before the first Hopkins/Pascal fight we had a **** ton of posters on ESB who said Pascal would retire Hopkins. But this one poster on here repeatedly said, "Nope.":nono

Now it looks like a lot of people came to their senses.

 

I seriously doubt it. Many here have been making the same bad call for the last 3 years. Many newbies don't know **** about boxing.
BHOP will whip Pascal and go on to defeat Dawson before retiring.
Next year Calzaghe will have smoked all his bank and tempt Hopkins out of retirement. Hopkins will come back, whip Calzaghe's ****** ass, and ride off into the sunset leaving many pink faces in anger. Bet it! :thumbsup

 

Last time I check, Hopkins wasn't Optimus primus and he was beatable. Last time I check also, it was hard to predict Hopkins a draw after the third round against Pascal. To finish, last time I check, there is many lost on Hopkins record so there's nothing bad to predict a lost on Hopkins.

You don't know **** in boxing if you think Pascal can't win this. This fight in may is going to be close as **** again. Don't talk like you would bet your house on this fight. Pascal is a warrior.

Great news whether it was Pascal-Hopkins or Pascal-Dawson it didn't matter too me. I'm just glad the fight is getting made.

 

LOL, I never said Pascal couldn't win. Nor have I stated that Hopkins is unbeatable. What I actually said was that Pascal WOULDN'T win.
