http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/commentary/news/story?page=hill/101119 If you're wondering why I've posted this video, it's just to get the opinions from Classic Posters on what is said at the tail-end of this interview.
Can we not chalk this down to the typical post-Pacquiao fight hysteria/hyperbole? Surely they will calm down in due time. edit: I can't see who said it. Was it Kellerman?
They're just expressing their opinions. I strongly disagree with things that both of them say and I do think they don't seem the most knowledgeable or insightful in the context of boxing. We're all entitled to out opinions though and Pacquiao is a great fighter so I have no problem with their opinion(s).
Usual yank hysteria drama & waffle & these pricks spend more time splitting hairs about **** all as there really just concerned with how they come across as far as self publicity goes, just a bunch of nodding donkeys, very few yanks commentators will step outside the box & ferociosly defend a given point when it's P.C to all nod heads together with what is viewed the popular concensus of the day & thats made by the ****er who can get his suggestion in first & especially if there sitting at the top table such as espn. Only a bunch of pricks could even concievably even discuss/debate the imbecile merits of such a ****in joke subject as manny not having fought african americans & only africans, what a bunch of ****in blustering self appraising huff puff blustering wankers. But thats the tried & tested american way if you want to get to the top just agree & promote minority issue's without even having a clue about them. 1st guy says i think Pacquiao is better than Duran!! Then it's a race to get in 2nd & agree
Brilliant. I tend to think Duran would have handed out beat-downs on the likes of Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, and Margarito also.
Hatton gets smashed to bits quick & ends up looking like a jigsaw puzzle with 1/2 the pieces missing:yep Cotto gets dissected with no anesthetic:yep Margo gets punched in the face so hard & often he gets a 4 week beard:yep Clottey would actually give Duran a tough fight but as per usual would fail due too lack of belief in himself as he's his own worst enemy when it comes to the crunch:bbb
I am one american who thinks Duran was better than Pacquiao. But, you're right in that alot of the American press is all about jumping on the popular banwagon. Alot of the current press didn't even see Duran fight in his prime.
I'm trying to accommodate views man. Actually **** it. If they think Pacquiao is better than Duran then I think they're soft in between the ears.
Safty in numbers as they say & get too the centre of the herd as fast as you can & stay away from the edges where you will get picked of by predators..........It's the American way:smoke
