I have not seen ESPN give so many segments to a boxing match since De La Hoya-Mayweather, Canelo must have a huge following.

They've been there since Tuesday. To put that in perspective, they've only been at the Alabama/A&M game since yesterday.

What was crazy was the number of channels showing the weigh in. CBS, CBS Sports, ESPN, Showtime, plus all the web sits like yahoo.

Goosebumps here, too. Had a about half the office watching the weigh in with me. That has never happened.

It's almost a surreal feeling. Seeing Mayweather, as much crap as he gets, being a huge star, and me still having fights with Manfredy and Gerena on VHS back home.

It's great to see it unfold.

Really? That's good. I was under the impression that ESPN promotion was lacking in comparison to the Guerrero fight.
