This has actually heated into a really nice fight.

Coyle putting the pressure on and forcing his way in. Benson cut over his left eye, not sure if it was a punch or head clash. Coyle doing a good job getting inside and brawling, not looking for anything specific, just throwing. Coyle lands a lead right hand right on the money.
Replay shows the cut caused by an accidental elbow.

Benson wants the fight at distance, Coyle wants a brawl on the inside. Coyle landing a few, but another uppercut from Benson as Coyle comes straight in the front door. Coyle goes down, not ruled a knockdown. Another close round.

 

Solid opening fight this, expected it to be super lame. Great appetizer.

Benson sharpshooting from a comfortable distance, and even sneaks in a hard left hand to the body. Coyle is pushing the pace but is getting picked off too much. Good round from Benson.

 

Entertaining fight but this is a pair of super feather fisted welter weights.

Coyle seems a little discouraged now, not as aggressive as he was earlier. Right hand from Benson finds the mark. He is continuing to counter Coyle's attacks. Coyle finally gets a right hook to land clean.

Coyle with more fire in him to start this round. Benson still able to get his counters in though, but does take a few shots as he looks to be feeling the pace a little. Coyle really pushing the pace this round. Good round from Coyle.

Coyle comes out very strong to start the round and is really pouring it on. Benson taking several shots with no answer. Coyle dominating Benson here! Benson weathers the storm and now Coyle needs a breather. Benson backs up to the ropes, Coyle unloads some more, Benson gets out. Benson does not look good, but is not giving in just yet.

Benson trying to keep Coyle away from him moving away after almost every punch he throws. Coyle can't catch him and is unable to land much at all. Good survival round from Benson, and even landed enough to get the round.

 

Remember this wasn’t the original scheduled fight. Catterall stepped in late after Sutcliffe pulled out. You have to give McKenna credit at least for taking the fight.
