Mmmm, I dont agree. I think any version of stevenson would ko any version of kovalev. Kovalev's ring IQ is under average, and stevenson is not a genious, but he knows very well his orthodox vs southpaw game. I dont see kovalev winning, tbh. It's a fight I would have loved to watch, and we will never watch. Sad

And I repeat that I understand everybody thinking that kovalev would ko stevenson, I just think that stevenson would be more comfortable in this fight. Basically because kovalev's boxing is sooo basic, jab and right hand: one, one, one-two, one, one, one, one-two... that's all his boxing, he has nothing else. And vs southpaws, this boxing is sheet and useless. That's the reason I would favour stevenson.

Outboxed? Ummhh.. If by that he meant he won the first fight then he was correct. He did. But Ward is mentally a stronger fighter with a better IQ & adjusted better second time, Kovalev is just as naturally talented but like all great fighters they have a great relationship & chemistry with there trainer & are ridiculously disciplined, neither of which Kovalev (it turned out) had in any sort abundance! He seems to have turned a corner now though mentally...

Stevenson will probably lose very soon he's too old & inactive, hence his cherry picking! He's ripe for the taking & I won't be surprised if Jack SD's him! He's loaded with power but there is a reason he hasn't fought anyone in years! He'd lose. Bivol clinics him, Kovalev stops him & teenage girls press charges.
