    Round 12

Ramírez is throwing jabs at the head, missing as Zepeda drunkenly lurches to his right, winded but still moving with more agility than his bewildered foe. Zepeda still has that right up-jab from a crouch tethered onto Ramírez's mandible from outside. Zepeda falling in, embracing the clinches that Ramírez makes inevitable by stomping into him, flinging his right arm up around Ramírez's neck. Shoeshine and hooking combo by Ramírez, dusting the back of Zepeda's head and the crowd goes bananas. That wasn't enough to steal the round, though.

    10-9 Zepeda

    118-110 Zepeda

    R1: 10-9 Zepeda
    R2: 10-9 Zepeda
    R3: 10-9 Ramirez
    R4: 10-9 Ramirez close
    R5: 10-9 Zepeda close
    R6: 10-9 Zepeda
    R7: 10-9 Ramirez close
    R8: 10-9 Ramirez
    R9: 10-9 Ramirez
    R10: 10-9 Zepeda close
    R11: 10-9 Zepeda close
    R12: 10-9 Zepeda

    115-113 Zepeda

Should be a win for Zepeda. 115-113 is probably the closest score Ramirez can get here. More realistic should be 116-112 or even 117-111/118-110.

Ramirez fights the last 20 seconds like he should have fought the entire fight.

I thought Ramirez stole the round with that last combo, and maybe the fight

Closest that I'm willing to accept is a draw, and that's reaching for JCR, giving him some close rounds that Zepeda in truth probably edged.

What was the ref doing the last 20 secs interrupting the fight? That was uncalled for.

good fight. ramirez is limited but he could have had an easier night of it. zepeda lacks durability right now but he does some things well.

115-114 Zepeda. He built an early lead, and I scored the 10th a 10-10

Think how incredible a weekend for upsets this would be if on Friday night we have unbeaten Carto getting KTFO, and then unbeaten champs Machado & Ramírez losing their belts on Saturday & Sunday respectively.
