If only Beltrán's glove had touched canvas (it came damn close) Okada would have stolen back the round. (when each fighter scores a knockdown to cancel one another out, under a 10-point must system, you give the round to whoever dominated more of it, 10-9...)

Both fighters hit the canvas in that round as a result of being punched in the head by the other.

Round 2: 10-9 Beltran (despite the knockdown)

    19-19 after 2.

    R1: 10-9 Okada
    R2: 10-9 Beltran

SICK ROUND!!!! Could be scored in many ways but Beltran hurt in worse fashin than Okada IMO.

    wtf is this 9-9 ****, @CST80 @Bustajay ?

There's no such thing as 9-9 without a point deduction. See my above post.

Do you score it 10-9 Beltran or 9-9 if the fighter that gets knockdown has a great round?

If you think Okada dominated the round despite being dropped, you score it 10-9 Beltrán instead of 10-8.

If Beltrán had gone down or grazed a glove on the canvas to even up the KD's, the knockdowns cancel each other out and you just score it 10-9 to whoever won more of the round.

Beltrán didn't actually go down. There are only two possible ways to score it:

    Beltrán 10-8

or, (if you think Okada would have deserved a 10-8 round on sheer domination minus his being knocked down) Beltrán 10-9.

If he had gone down, there would still be only two possible ways to score:

10-9 Beltrán or 10-9 Okada (whoever you thought won more of the round).
