Not sure if it's just British slang but bell is erm... Well... Prince Albert would be on the bell

Bell's idols growing up that he 'molds' himself after were Muhammad Ali, Roy Jones and Floyd Mayweather (the Juniors, in the latter two cases, naturally :sisi1).

That is both the most uninspired cliché stock response imaginable as well as virtually nonsensical in terms of melding all three disparate (and in ways, at times, paradoxical) styles.

Bell does a lot better when he has his feet set firmly and stands his ground instead of the stick and move routine

Pedraza needs to be shot to lose to LesPierre who was totally outclassed in his one step up. Frenchie will have some size on his side tho.

Very little thinking outside the box in Bernáldez's pressure. You do get the feeling Bell could pretty much outbox him color-by-numbers, from whatever range he saw fit.

Oh Danny Boy, the jab will have you falling.
Through the ropes, landing on your side.
Your hope is lost, you've taken quite a mauling.
Next time you'll have to look for a better place to hide.

Bell is gonna be a pain in the a$$ for a lot of guys in that division. He’s huge for the division. And he has that negative style that is very frustrating.

    30-27 Bell

The most that Bernáldez has managed is to graze the inner armpit of Bell with an up-jab - while light patters rain down on him as Bell stays upright and mobile.

I detest that DJ Khaled Motivational Speaker commercial with a burning passion. Because it fails across the board. It's repellent, probably drives people away from the product and I've never heard a less inspiring less motivating person be put up there as an exemplar of it. It might work if it was being played as ironic, but it sadly isn't. It's cringey on several levels.

Of course Ward is gushing over Bell's performance (which, like many of Ward's, is the pugilistic equivalent of taking your ticket at the RMV and finding that you're 127th in line).
