All three judges concur. Bell improves to 17-0, which means he'll probably get a title shot (and with it, get KTFO) within a year or two.

It's weird, but Bell has a win over Vences, who I like, so there's something there.

Has an educated left hand and moves well. But I think he might have been able to get Bernaldez out of there had he exerted a little more effort, and saved himself another hand injury in the process.

Didn’t watch it but it sounds like it went just as everybody expected. Bernaldez is very limited offensively, one of the more disappointing fighters SanMan Promotions throws out there against prospect level fighters. Even John Vincent Moralde is better, albeit less durable.

Glad to see I'm not alone in my prediction. Tim Bradley thinks LesPierre is going to edge it and for the same reason.

Lucky you. I took off scoring it, in retrospect, I regret that decision, writing would have been far more exciting.

No clue wtf Tessitore keeps on calling this "junior welterweight" for.

LesPierre and Pedraza both weighed in at 143¾lbs. :nusenuse:

Also blows my mind that the Sniper is now at welter (in truth, even if this was nominally intended to be '140lbs') - feels like I just blinked and he very suddenly stopped being a super feather. Which is kind of true; that was only...2018?

    Round 1

Pedraza using head feints and working very efficiently from medium-long range, letting his upper body roll in with a staccato rhythm while pumping out jabs and rights with precision into either side of the face. LesPierre is shooting the right jab into the neck and sometimes brushing it, but then loading up on the follow-up overhand left and missing as Pedraza sinks back and drops a level. Pedraza ducking the punctuating right hook altogether, then peppering the body of LesPierre with light counters.

    10-9 Pedraza
