Steve Kim from Max Boxing posted this on his twitter earlier

"Got a call from Kelly Pavliks father, says his son will still go out west and try new set up. But added-"subject to change"

I dont think Pavlik really has any fans, they are all Jack Leow fans.

Little doubt in my mind that Kelly went in to that meeting knowing he had to say his 'mea culpas' and ended up doing a lot of listening and head nodding and agreeing. Then he walked out, took a deep breath and starting weighing his options.

    Good for Kelly!

Pavlik has lots of raw talent. He ****ing ruined Jermain Taylor (god bless him).
Pavlik justs need someone to give him some defensive/movement skills/training.
He can already punch like a demon and has some good basic skills. He needs to learn the more subtle and slick art of boxing and put down the sledgehammer for a minute.

If he stays away from the drink and can learn some stuff and keep a level head, he can definitely be a force in boxing.

    Good luck Kelly!

Dump Jack Leow, train under Garcia, move to California! Dunkin and Arum announced a bunch of stuff Kelly never agreed to, and acted as if it was all a done deal. This is the same kind of crap Kelly complained about when he cancelled the Cunningham fight and objected to the Bute deal.

I'm not convinced Pavlik will fight again under the Top Rank banner. Considering the **** that goes on behind the scenes no one could blame him for sitting until May when his TR contract runs out.

He sits around until May he is finished. Period. The guy needs to be active and fighting.

Right now Pavlik needs a couple preparatory fights on FNF or Top Rank PPV's. He needs to work his way back into title contention, and prove he still has some fuel left in the old gas tank. Seven months from now the situation will be exactly the same as it is now. In the mean time he can work on building his promotional company (Ghost Promotions,) and that would keep his name in the news. Another seven months won't change a thing.

Yeah, Pavlik when interviewed said something about being tired of being Top Ranks puppet. That was just before the Cunningham fight.

I think Top Rank with all these demands are basicly trying to show Pavlik they are the boss and he better do what they say. Which makes me nervous cause I want to see Pavlik fight again soon. And from the reports I have read Pavlik is not going along with Top Ranks plan.

Top Rank have given Pavlik far more chances than most fighters get. They did everything a promoter should do and it was Pavlik's weaknesses which hurt their relationship.

    Top Ranks puppet?

did top rank also force him to become a raging alcoholic?
