Sadam Ali is now finally stepping up. It's just a shame it is several years too late.

I remember there was quite a hype on Ali back in 2010-2011. I haven't heard anyone mention him in the last year, let alone at the frequency he used to be brought up.

Got to pick Abregu to deserve the nod here. Ali will get the decision if it's anywhere close, would be my guess.

I personally thought the Rosado fight was all wrong for James and too tough of a fight for Kirkland coming off a 1+ year layoff. Sucks personally but it’s probably the right thing to do for James, he needs a tune up imo because of the amount of time he’s been off.

    Damn shame.

That was the best card of the year.

Kirkland vs Rosado would have provided the fireworks and a sure fire brawl and then the Hopkins vs Kovalev fight would have been an exciting chess match style fight where one bad move by Hopkins could spell the end of the fight and probably his career.

How many times does Kirkland get rumored for fights and then doesn't end up fighting for months down the line?

He pulled out of an agreement to fight Canelo back in 2012, citing an arm or shoulder injury which he later said was faked because he had promotional/managerial/trainer problems to work out... *******.

I predict Canelo stops Kirkland if they ever fight.

Hopefully it's targeted for a later date when it would get more attention. I think Clottey is already done for Canelo, so perhaps this is too expensive for the Bhop card. We'll see.

What a joke! Should have figurednit would have been Kirkland who did not hold up his end.

Rosado cannot get a break. Kirkland turns tail for whatever reason and an Angulo rematch is now out due to his recent performance.
