Tarjeta de ChavaESPN (unofficial scorecard of Salvador Rodríguez) has it level at 38-38, with the Cuban winning rounds 2-3 and Mexican southpaw Gutiérrez bookending those with the 1st and 4th.

 

Arce is maybe the least slick Cuban you'll ever see. I think he thinks he's slick, though...walking around in a Philly shell but getting tagged plenty.

 

On the undercard, 40 year old Marco Antonio "El Monstruo" Peribán (remember him??) returned from a 2½ year layoff and eked out his first victory since 2022 - and only his second one since 2016 - with a UD over a kid named Jesús Urrutia that came in 7-0 with seven knockouts.

It was, bafflingly, somehow for the WBC Fecombox super middleweight title despite both Peribán and Urrutia failing to make not only the super middleweight limit, but even the light heavy. (Peribán weighed 178¼ and Urrutia 175¾)

 

Rodríguez has it level yet again, 57 all through six.

Rodríguez had Arce sweeping the second half, for a final score of 97-93 in favor of the Cuban.

I had figured Edwing Zaid Dávila Chávez vs. Miguel Ángel Pedraza Gil was the co-main event, but it would appear not. The result for it just got updated on BoxRec (UD for Dávila to become FECOMBOX lightweight champion, must have taken place before Arce vs. Gutiérrez but after Peribán vs. Urrutia) and we're onto the main event next!
