    I thought this meant we were going to get a tag team match with kovalev and rios vs chaves. On a serious note, rios vs chaves would be a pick em fight!

    Nice fight and could be a good, rare, tripleheader with Kovalev on the undercard.

    Its interesting that Rios could face Chaves but Large Dan also said HBO wanted Rios-Abregu and that Rios's team wanted no part of Abregu.

    Steve Kim says it could be Vargas- Antonio DeMarco.

    stylistically chaves will be as difficult as abril was....

    but.... chaves is willing to exchange.... and abril is pretty much a pure counter puncher.

    Abregu > Chaves

    In my opinion.

    He holds the fighting style and dimensions that would trouble Rios more than Chaves will be able to.

    The difference between the two fights:

    I'd pick Abregu to beat Rios and would do so with confidence.

    I will likely be picking Rios over Chaves.

    I like that match-up, but the fact that Rios tested positive in his last fight and he is still getting big fights with no repercussions leaves a bit of a sour taste.
