I like that Holt is getting another shot at a belt but I had hoped for him to stay at 147. Against Coleman at that weight he looked very strong.

Wonder how long Petersons had been using his PEDS...

Looked much bigger when he fought Khan compared to when he fought Ortiz...

  4. I'll be rooting for "Rated R" to land one of those hooks and get rid of PEDerson.

    Wouldn't be a terrible outcome.

Holt is one of those guys who can be competitive with almost anyone when he is on his game. Great pop, too.

Fantastic get for FNF. Ratings should be much higher than normal.

Im rooting for Holt on this one. I really want to see him back in the 140 mix. Interesting to see how he can handle Petersons pressure. He's gonna have to be on his A game because Peterson can take punishment and give it back no problem.

FNF's 2011 season was one of the worsts in recent memory, with very, very few standout cards. This year's early season cards look very promising. I hope keep bringing the goood stuff throughout the whole season.

Peterson should win this one on points with Kendall being knocked back into his shell quite early on and being content to survive.

Is Jones still training Holt? I think i missed his last couple of fights.

    good crossroads fight.

Peterson has a shot at redemption, holt has a shot at the belt.

Holy can't really handle pressure though he's more of a sharpshooter. He will lose to Peterson, might even quit on his stool.

Holt stood up to a beating from Garcia for 12 rounds. Peterson will look like **** without his ped's and will walk into Holts body shots and eventually brutal left hook.

    I hope so.

The difference her is Holt and Garcia are quite similar stylistically and none really poor it on the way Peterson did against Khan.

The closest guy to Peterson Holt has faced is that one who Judah sparked, I forget his name now but he stayed on Holt throughout landing wild shots and Holt eventually quit.

I am, mainly based on his own admission that he had the pellets before the first fight.

Was it enough to make a difference? I guess we won't know unless the two have a rematch but it certainly raises a question on a man who has never fought that good in his 30+ fights to date.

If he went the distance pressure fighter Bradley and with Garcia who is a much much bigger hitter than Peterson, I think he should be able to hold up to Peterson's pudding fists just fine. But that is the old Holt, it might be a different story for todays Holt.
