Not sure why Arum doesn't want to make the fight. If it happens it'll be for the MW Title most likely at a catchweight. Cotto will be the underdog and if he loses, still carry his belt at 154, and the rematch with Margarito will still be there and able to sell. It's win/win for Cotto. Arum proving once again he's a piece of ****.

I really wasn't interested in seeing Cotto get beaten to a pulp...again. He had little to no shot at beating Martinez anyway.

I think stylistically he has a better shot at Martinez than he does Margarito. Martinez is not gonna pressure Cotto nonstop and Cotto has good boxing skills so if he is careful he can outbox him to a decision.

Say what you will about King, BUT Arum is the WORST thing to ever happen to boxing, if he can't get inhouse fights, than he will prevent big fights from taking place.

I bet you Margarito won't pressure Cotto like he did before.

    :-(

I don't want to see Cotto beaten up again. He should go back to 147 where he belongs and teach Berto a thing or two about boxing.

Martinez wouldn't have to pressure because he would still be landing and he will be landing from the opening bell unlike margo haveing to wait six rounds to get going when cotto slowed down. Martinez has too many angles, speed and power and Cotto is not ready.

Martinez won't pressure Cotto but he will still throw punches nonstop but in a smart way. Even when Cotto was undefeated he had problems with southpaws. Chop Chop Stunned Cotto badly. Judah almost had Cotto out there. Martinez is a way better fighter then both Chop Chop and Judah combine. Sure Cotto does got good boxing skills but Martinez boxing skills is way better.

You think he is gonna box Cotto who he already knows can be beat with pressure? Actually wait Margarito can not box!!

He is gonna try to impose his size on him which this time around will be even bigger at 154.

Look at how Margarito destroyed Cintron 2 times. Martinez although he did win(twice) against Cintron had some tough times with him. Cintron would try to box and thats when Cintron would do good. Cotto is a much better boxer than Cintron.

Im not saying Cotto would win. He would rightfully be the underdog but his chances are much better against Martinez than Margarito.
