You witnessed a terrible boxer with zero defense who's relied too heavily on his chin, finally having it catch up to him. Fine I picked Saucedo, he almost pulled it off, he didn't. Hooker won, good for him, decent win, but nothing to go bat**** about or anything. If he was that good he wouldn't have gotten dropped and been pinned on the ropes and dominated for an entire round.

    Purses for tonight’s fight:

    Hooker: $1.2M
    Saucedo: $400K

As a 29 year old with EIGHT (8) kids, I hope Hooker keeps earning 7 figure paydays for as long as he keeps his title.

 I'm not sure how high his ceiling is but the danger of him landing with one of those big overhand wild right hands and knocking you senseless is very real.

That Ivan guy looks like a beast, certainly entertaining guy to watch. But he drops his guard while punching and doesn't seem pace himself (from those clip...). I remember watching GGG vs Lemieux and being really impress by GGG's technique as he wasn't droping at all his right hand while throwing his left hook, as Lemieux's right was droping a little, thererfore tasting some leather on the face. And Lemieux is really skilled to (eventhough people tend to think otherwise since he doesn't run around in circle, but that is because his T-rex arms make him to stay in the pocket).

Naw, that's what you witnessed, I saw a good fight period and I didn't have a favorite. Hooker went to work and there is no denying that, he got up from a knockdown and beat the brakes off Saucedo in his hometown with his home crowd.

Yet some people tried to claim matchroom losing the purse bid was bad for Hooker. He got a great payday from this!!!
