ESPN: Mercito Gesta vs. Robert Manzanárez & Edgar Valerio vs. Manny Robles III RBR.

Yeah, like to puke on the judges.

 

To be fair, they both looked like ass. Manzanarez, although looking more composed on the outside, didn’t do himself any favors by visually looking less active than Gesta. Both guys are naturally tentative but Gesta really going after it at times and landing some big, flashy shots won him enough rounds.

Manzanarez had the style to beat Gesta clearly but he just didn’t have it in him to impose his size, even in spurts. He let Gesta get inside too easily at times and he had no answer when that happened. Both guys were very frustrating to watch. They both knew what they had to do to win but they’re just not good enough to do it consistently well. Close fight that could have gone either way.

 

As much as I want to ***** that was just one of those kind of fights..... a lot of 50/50 rounds. Maybe 3 or 4 clear rounds in total.
