    That's what I was afraid of; it was a good uppercut, but it shouldn't have sent Dogboe running for almost all of a three-minute round after two rounds he won fairly clearly.

    Bluenose spent too much time in the second giving the fight to Dogboe on a silver platter, ducking in half-heartedly and leaving himself open to wide power shots around the guard without being alert or confident enough to give a receipt. Then in round three, he started to knife his way inside with the jab and work a strong lead uppercut, stopped worrying about potential counters and began just diving straight in to either land (usually a half-legal rabbit punch) or grab & release. Dogboe not allowed to dig into his body as much. Good adjustment.
