It sure in the hell appears that pac and Arum are working over time to get out of this fight. Its going to be hard for people to defend this move. They are not tring to make this fight happen. ESPN also reports that it appears Manny main focus in on bring the lawsuit against GBP and Mayweathers.

I know that the *******s will start with the "Oh he shouldnt have to do this and that" But I didnt hear that same thing coming from them when Pac was making all his demands in past fights.

It appears that this fight is done.

Relax they will fight.....Unless your a pacquiao fan public perception will look like manny ducked floyd if the fight doesn't happen....plus, the steroid allegations will continue to circle through the media.....that's just wonderful for a future political campaign for pacquiao....that is why he is suing...its about his political carear...He will look like the guy that took on the all powerful american justice system.....good press in the phillippines....

I still think the fight will get made...the NSAC will have to change their guidelines in formal meetings....and it will push the fight back...

what you didn't understand in that statement is that the NSAC is looking to do a more stringent test for this fight than in other fights, which would include random blood tests during Pac's training camp.

The way it was supposed to go.
If floyd had a problem with the drug tests, he should have petitioned the NSAC, not tried to get it in the contract for some outside agency.
Things are taking shape a lot more correctly now.

Excellent. Team Pac has Team Hypocrite on the back foot and they are moving in for some combos in the corner.

Team Hypocrite overplayed their hand, now they're suffering the consequences.

I think that you have it part right. Manny wants his political career, and not this fight. He isnt going to get anything done in court in enough time to help him in his political campaign. The best thing that he could have done was agree to the testing and go out and kick Floyds ass. Manny has for the most part did this to himself. If he had agreed do you think that it would have blown up like this??? It would never have happened. The claims of Pac being on the juice actaully started well before this point. According to Arum himself he was told in September that the comments were made to a reporter at the offices of GBP. so why are they NOW dong something about it??? Right as we thought the fight was going to be made???

I in the beginning of this thought 100% that Pac wasnt on anything, but his actions in the past week have tilted that percentage in my mind. And Im a pretty bull headed Dude, so if its changing my opinions then I know that others are too being swayed by the actions of Arum, and Pac.

So the feeling of the moronic pactribe is that that only pac has the right to make demands for a fight. Its ok if Pac doesnt want to meet any of Floyd's demands, but if Floyd dont meet his then all hell breaks loose in pacland.

I dont even know why I waste time..Plus thier hasnt been a ******* post on this thread yet, only diehard Floyd haters:good

Of course many people's opinions are being swayed. Thats how dirty politics work. You spin a little web of doubt and repeat your claims often enough, people will believe them. Its not something that is unique to boxing.

Even if Pacquiao accepts the drug tests and passes them, his entire career up to this fight will always be in question regardless of wether he has always been clean or not. Especially if he loses the fight or wins but doesn't look as good as usually. People will claim that he must have stopped taking steroids because of the tests and that he had an unfair advantage over many of his previous opponents. We've already seen that the burden of proof is on the accused, and in this situation Pac will have no way to prove his innocence in the past.

Imagine Pac passes the tests but loses a decision to Floyd, and Cotto comes out saying "Pac has never looked that slow and sluggish. It must be more than a coincindence that the first fight where he is forced to stay off PEDs, he looks so terrible". Another cloud of doubt would be settled in.

Floyd has every right to negotiate terms of the fight just as every other boxer does in every other fight; however, considering that he's making an unprecedented demand that's completely unwarranted and the demand won't even be recognized by the people who control boxing ie the state commissions and sanctioning bodies, I'd say his demand far exceeds the limitations of reason and fairness.

Look man, Manny and Arum made a big deal out of it now they are wanting to sue. If they knew that Pac wasnt on anything then you take the test and the money and whip floyds ass, its that simple. By them refusing to take the test is what makes them APPEAR guilty, not the fact that some one said it. I know that thier are two groups of people that dont seem to understand that around here, so its like talking to a brick when I respond.
