I'm gonna have to quote you on this. If Floyd agrees to WADA testing them for his and Pac's fight, then I'll give credit to him. If he says no to WADA, are you willing to admit that he is putting another roadblock to fight Pac and in a way ducking Pac?

This is floyd's chance to enhance his legacy so it befits his talents.

Ortiz-pac-khan at ww then cotto-alvarez at lmw. Maybe even martinez at mw to go out with a bang.

Either way if gets them 3 at ww he'll break most people's top 25. Ruler from 130-135 then a somewhat impressive reign at ww over a total of 7 years. Wins over mitchel, judah, bald, hatton, marquez, mosley, ortiz, pac, khan. Not too shabby. Especially if he adds to his oscar win at lmw.

I'll believe Arum lying ass once the fighters are in the ring fighting, but to trust anything that come from that man mouth or from camp Manny is always suspect to me. Ever since the first negotiation fell through because of a drug test I've been a skeptic.

MANILA, Philippines — Manny Pacquiao has somewhat given in to the demands of Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Top Rank chief Bob Arum told the website ESPN that Pacquiao will agree to “unlimited random (blood) testing (to be) done by a responsible, neutral organization.”

Arum said the US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), the body Mayweather wants to handle the tests, is not a neutral organization and that there are other groups that can “handle the test under the supervision of the athletic commission respective of the state where the fight is going to be held.”

Efforts to stage a sure box-office and PPV success event like the Pacquiao-Mayweather match have failed in the past owing to the issue of random testing and revenmue split.

Arum hopes that Pacquiao’s decision to accept Mayweather’s challenge will pave the way for the fight to take place in 2012.

Pacquiao and Mayweather have scheduled fights in the coming months and it is of course paramount for them to hurdle these obstacles.

Mayweather faces southpaw Victor Ortiz on Sept. 17, while Pacquiao meets Juan Manuel Marquez on Nov. 12. Both fights are going to be staged at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao and Mayweather are both heavy favorites to repulse their respective opponents.

I don't see anything on ESPN's website about this. I've never seen anything on any major sporting news site about Pacquaio agreeing to the drug testing request. Furthermore, I still don't get how the USADA is not neutral. Anyway, if they truly are agreeable to full random blood and urine tests, I don't see why the fight can't be made.

You're a little too late man.
"Take the test" doesn't work well anymore so they are now on the "Arum wants to manipulate the results so they don't want USADA to perform the test".:rofl

People really have an issue with Floyd being on an even playing field, nothing to do with the test.

If you ask people common sense questions as if to why Floyd is wrong for asking for a test they use his own over-confident "Bravado" as an excuse as to why. Yet when Manny is coming in with any extra advantages over his opponents they see nothing wrong wit it

There shouldn't be an issue with Floyd asking for a test that ensures he wont be going up against a cheater and vice versa. How Arum could ask for something that was agreed upon two years later is silly and *******s have gone all around answering why it took so long

Good stuff. No more excuses from Team Floyd.

Pacquiao's problem in the Morales fight, if I recall, is that he thought Morales' promoter (or manager, can't recall which) may have helped make sure that Pacquiao's first blood sample that he had already given ended up "lost," so that Pacquiao was forced to do a second blood sample closer to the fight date. Pacquiao blamed the blood testing for his loss.

Since Floyd/GBP apparently may be somewhat tight with the USADA, it makes sense for Top Rank to want to go to a more neutral organization so that the Morales I fiasco is avoided.

Nowhere to run now; we'll see what happens.

bro u gotta be kidding me man....

WHO IS STUPID ENOUGH TO BELIEVE PACMAN???

why didnt he say he would from the jump and they would be fighting.
what a coincedence that as soon as ortiz/moneymay are official...pac/arum say they ready.

its a marketing scheme.further prooving that pacman and arum are crooked and hiding something.

any1 like the ******* above me..that takes pacman and arum serious are a complete moron.
propaganda.marketing scheme.that is all this is.

arum and pac are trying to cover up there dirty trail of lies and deception.
    but once again..
only a delusional coward cannot see whats going on.

the fight will never happen cause pacman has to be on PED'S..to be close to winning.
therefor he cant take the test..or his jig is up.
so the only way moneymay/pacman fight ever happens is if pacman can pay off the drug testing officials(dont think its not possible..he is a political figure now)
to ensure he is on PED'S..if he fights moneymay.

i think the worst thing ever happen to boxing was pacman
mark my words...soon..or..years from now some1 will snitch on pacman and have proof too..it might be a old sick ariza on his deathbed....whatever it is it will come to the light..100%...his cheating will 1 day be exposed.
pacman is worse then resto, margarita, mosley and klitchko steroid use in the olympics, put together!
