Im promoting a fight at MSG. I printed five tickets and sold them. Its sold out.

When you sold all the ticket you are selling by definition its sold out. Nothing to do with seating capacity of the venue WTF people

No the Article that you posted said they were shooting for 40,000 but Arum was hoping for more. Which in itself should tell a logical person that 40,000 isnt a sellout.

HOWEVER they have not even reached that number so really either way its not a sellout.

I think that too many are missing a simple point. If you some gin in the bottle and you say I hope there is enough in the bottle to fill half the glass, then you start to pour and you reach the point you hoped for does that mean the glass is full??? Its really that simple. Arum would love nothing more then to sell 80,000 tickets for the fight, but if he made that a point of interest then people would say the fight was a failure with 40,000 instead of saying damn that is alot of people. So he put it out there that 40,000 tickets is a sellout when the truth is if 60,000 people would have bought tickets then they would be saying that 60,000 is a sellout. If it was 20,000 they would be saying that 20,000 is a sellout. Because no matter the number they will just reduce the number of sections accordingly.

Once again Arum is full of ****. and you cats are wearing blinders. If once ticket agent has that many tickets available then surely other have like tickets.
