That first round was great, Petalcorin easily won half, Alvarado won his half a little bigger.

 

Unreal these announcers are saying Alvarado isn't hitting near as hard as Petalcorin

 

What the **** are these commentators talking about!? Trying to say Alvarado is clearly tiring while Petalcorin sets back against the ropes getting wailed on by a clearly surging Alvarado (this is the 6th round btw.) They did the same thing in that Australian fight about a month back between the other Moloney brother and one of the Concepcion's giving the away fighter no credit when I thought he did pretty decent. Not winning mind you but still good enough where they shouldn't have been singing Moloney's praises like it was total domination.

 

Petalcorin was winning "the story of the fight" at the time.

These announcers make me sick, he's clearly dominated round while Petalcorin just layed against the ropes for the most part, and all they can talk about is Alvarado's tiring & he needs to close big even though he beat the **** out of Petalcorin the entirety of the round

Is it the filipino commentators? If so im pretty sure they actually said that alvarado was doing the better job but im also surprised that they had it even until the ko.

 

No it's the ESPN+ crew, they always come off terribly bias for whoever the home fighter their covering is.
