I guess you watched him pick Allen Iverson as his first overall pick in the NBA greatest of all time draft. :hey

He was in a semi- watered down era. He would never have done it in this era even if he was in his prime.

Laver's accomplishment of 4 slams in 1 calender year, how do you fancy that?

now now, pipe down and act like an adult. there's no reason for the childish name calling. Don't regress to how you troll boxing fans.

    It kind of does

    1. Jordan returned from a semi-failed attempt at baesball and won 3 championships from 96-98. Just unbelievable.

    2. He came back to the league to play for the Wizards at 40 and still managed to do great numbers, 22 ppg and 20 ppg in 2 years.

    3. His transcendence should be considered as well when we have these kinds of talks.

How can you not consider him the greatest/BEST athlete in the last 20 years.

Messi is great, but his inability to win the world cup will be an asterisk.

that's an unfair comparison though. My friends and I actually had this discussion last night. He's a swimmer..yes there's different styles BUT a swimmer has what...maybe 7 events per olympic? a basketball player has one lol

4 diff. games. and there's been lots of dominant basketball players.

Epic. It goes to show you that not only is this guy the greatest swimmer of all time and the greatest Olympian of all time, he's maybe the greatest athlete of all time. He's the greatest racer who ever walked the planet.

Sorry, guys like Maradona/Pele/Ronaldo have great accomplishments on the world stage.

Messi is great and probably one of the best I've ever seen. But if he never wins a world cup, it will be an asterisk.

    Deal with it.

Just saw the list can't really complain Lebron is #2 but lot's of great name's, should feel tried a lil bit with his caption but should he beat Pacquiao impressively all the talk should stop but it won't.

funny that Reggie and Kenny kept making fun of his pick lol.

here we go again with the "watered down" era...just seems that way because of how dominant Federer was at the peak of his powers.

if he played in such a weak era....why is a 32/33 year old Fed still #2? lol

Laver is of course great....but even he says Fed is GOAT.

to summarize, I think Fed is GOAT now but it probably won't last forever. It's like Maradona....Messi surpassed him a few years ago IMO and he's just pushing the bar up further
