LOL... riiiight. Nice little top 5 you have there

Alexander Karelin was twice the athlete Floyd is and was even more dominant in his sport. Also... no Wayne Gretzky, Rodger Federer, Michael Phelps, ETC??? interesting. Lol :yep

Anyway Floyd won't be in the conversation after Manny clips him in a month.

Did you actually read my post?

Which of these points is factually incorrect?

    1) That Sampras never reached a French Open final, never mind won one.

    2) That Sampras only won 3 clay tournaments in his career

Please, enlighten us with your mature perspective. Please give us evidence that you are right, I am wrong, and Sampras was indeed dominant on all surfaces.

My god  And you pulled the "you must be young" card on me?

I vividly remember Federer ending Sampras' reign at Wimbledon, when he was a mere teenager. Apparently you don't.

Why do people keep saying Roger Federer, Michael Phelps, and Lionel Messi aren't on the list? They are.

    #20 – Sidney Crosby, hockey
    #19 – Barry Bonds, baseball
    #18 – Mia Hamm, soccer
#17 – Floyd Mayweather, Jr., boxing
    #16 – Usain Bolt, athletics
    #15 – Brett Favre, football
    #14 – Tim Duncan, basketball
    #13 – Lance Armstrong, cycling
    #12 – Lionel Messi, soccer
    #11 – Shaquille O’Neal, basketball
    #10 – Derek Jeter, baseball
    #9 – MICHAEL PHELPS, swimming
    #8 – Kobe Bryant, basketball
    #7 – Peyton Manning, football
    #6 – Serena Williams, tennis
    #5 – Roger Federer, tennis
    #4 – Tom Brady, football
    #3 – Tiger Woods, golf
    #2 – LeBron James, basketball
    #1 – Michael Jordan, basketball

I think people aren't even reading the list before they complain. There's a lot of good picks on there. I'd throw out Serena Williams, Shaq, Tim Duncan, Mia Hamm, Barry Bonds, and Sidney Crosby. Then I'd add Michael Schumacher from racing, Liu Xiang from hurdling, Lin Dan from Badminton, Zinedine Zidane from soccer, Ronaldo from soccer, and Kelly Slater from surfing.

Kelly Slater was as dominant as anyone can be in a particular sport.

Yeah it does seem more like a game than a sport. But then how do you define "sport"?
Either way I don't see how or why surfing should be excluded.

    Christine Sinclair Hitmanstyle.

Messi should be only behind MJ. He wins a World Cup (doubtful, probably had his best chance) and he is probably above MJ.

But then again where is Xavi, because with out him Spain don't win two Euros and the World Cup, and Barca aren't winning two Champions League.

If Crosby is on the list where is Hasek or Jagr?

And I agree, no Roy Jones on the list is bizarre.
