What the hell has Roger done on clay? If it wasn't for that bull**** once in a blue moon win by Soderling against an injury riddled Nadal, Roger wouldn't even have had a slam at Roland Garros.

Take grass away from Fed and it ain't all that spectacular either.

    :hi:

Post 2008, Nadal has the best run by far by any tennis player as far as slams is concerned.

Oh yeah let's take away Rafa's US open/AO successes too. :smooch

Fact is: Nadal is 5 years younger and is already on route to surpass Fed. Fed has not won a slam since 2012?

    Here's a fact:

Clay is the most important surface in tennis.

    Clearly they didn't play prime-for-prime - there's a considerable age difference.

You're also totally misusing the stats. Nadal is 5 years younger, and despite a large portion of his wins coming on his favoured surfaces and in favoured conditions against Federer, 9 of his 23 wins have come after Federer turned 30.

13 of his 23 wins have been on clay - a surface on which Nadal is without doubt the greatest of all time.

Who's taking away his successes on other courts?

5 years younger ON ROUTE to surpass...in your own wording he hasn't yet..unless you're talking grand slams here

Fed capturing the wimbledon chip and regaining #1 in 2012 is a huge accomplishment.

once again using statistics, would you say Djoker is greater than Fed because he has a more favorable record than Fed when it comes to playing Nadal?

Why does only one of the 4 majors have it as the surface then?

Hm no, I'll say Djoker and Rafa have a great chance of being the two greatest of all time.

Right now, Djokovic hasn't done enough in terms of feats.

Roger still has some great accomplishments, but let's stop pretending that he will remain GOAT for the rest of eternity, which you are trying to do.

Nadal has a winning record against every top professional in tennis, that's something that has to be considered.

Imo, Nadal has already surpassed Roger. The mixture of the slams, winning record against him, winning record against every man, the impact that he's brought.

i'm not trying anything. I can only speak for now and as of now, Roger is the GOAT. where do you get that I'm trying to say it'll stay that way forever?

that's a very impressive stat by Nadal. Doesn't sway my opinion though.

Let's take away their favoured surface of grass and clay then, shall we?

Federer slams minus grass - 10
Federer ATP 1000 wins minus grass - 23
    Federer year-end titles - 6

Nadal slams minus clay - 5
Nadal ATP 1000 wins minus clay - 8
    Nadal year-end titles - 0

    Lol.

    How about the

"He still won't be GOAT" :rofl:rofl

You don't think he'll be the GOAT if let's say he has 18-20 slams, 26-10 against Fed (Probably), winning record against every man, his unrivalled dominance at Roland Garros, etc etc?

That's just homerism if you think otherwise.

And have you considered their age?

Rafa is 5 years younger, which means 15 more slams without clay? :bart

Roger won most of those slams when Rafa/Djokovic weren't big in the scene yet.
