You just made two contradicting points. If Federer won most of his titles young, surely that means Nadal should have passed him already?

    Yes it sure is.

In other news, broken glass is the most important surface in hockey.

    Wrong?

Because Nadal has been plagued with injuries?

He's been plagued with injuries for years now and hasn't been in top form.

And being at 14 at this age is a magnificent feat. In 5 years, he'll have more than 17, you can BOOK it. :yep

Hard to make such a comparison between the sports.

Guys like F1 drivers (Schumacher), tennis (Federer, Nadal), track & field (Bolt), football (Messi, Ronaldo), basketball (Jordan) etc probably occupy the top spots.

I guess that Greco-roman wrestler Karelin is also up there.

"But it's not fair for a surface to be fast." "Actual Nadal quote".

Ok, maybe not an actual quote. :rofl

Get it right, it's tennis (Nadal, Federer).

But #1 has to go to Jordan, his dominance, how he has transcended basketball, sports in general will never be replicated ever again.

Closest one we've seen is Tiger.

In terms of accomplishments, respect and recognition in tennis, Federer is still #1.

I agree Jordan ranks pretty high, perhaps not #1 though.

    Tiger?

Floyd can't compare to Nadal and Federer. They faced the best of their era. Floyd faced Diego Corrales.

    In terms of h2h, it's Nadal (23-10), he's also 5 years younger.

He will surpass that 17 in 3-4 years.

So get it right, it's Nadal.

How the hell is Jordan not #1, you are not serious?

Tiger transcended sports for many years until recently (Mental destruction, scandal)

His knees won't allow that to happen.

    That and stricter PED testing.

Barry Bonds was as dominant an athlete as Jordan IMO, but he cheated. Hell Pedro Martinez at his peak was on Jordan's level. The fact that he was so much freaking better than everyone else.
