But he had a rematch with Castillo and dominated! So your little theory is false! If FM was afraid to take on dangerous fighters after the first Castillo fight, why then would he have a rematch with the fighter that put fear in his soul?:nono

His loses against Tarver and Johnson hurt his legacy more than his loses that he has against the Russian guys later in his career.

Floyd was bad at 130 pounds.. El Matador was as game as they come and pushed Floyd to fight his fight.. another fight I'd suggest to people who want to see him in a battle would be the Burton fight, and chicanito too...

Fluid Chemweather is a shameful, dirty drug cheat. Dude was caught w/ a needle in his arm for a nonexistent medical condition.

Chavez was such a good fighter in his prime.

In RING magazine Chavez was on a recent tear, and they did an article on him and the end quote was "And sadly, all of this hard work just to take a beating from Floyd Mayweather"

I think it was Jeff Ryan. This was years ago, mind.

Look at his fights pre Castillo I, and Post Castillo I. He changed. I'm sure he realized then that he wasn't invincible. The way he fought in the rematch showed me the injury had very little to do with him losing, he resorted to pot shotting in the rematch, and since has fought negative and scared against opponents who were somewhat of a threat. Mayweather also avoided many fighters in their prime.

The same Chavez who got out worked and beaten by a small past prime Morales...

Who by the way kicked Floyd's ass in sparring. :deal

And he took a pounding too. Floyd couldn't miss with those uppercuts.. Great underrated performance by Floyd.

Sadly Chavez was never the same after Johnson passed.

What was he supposed to do? Stand and trade with the best lightweight of the era? Who outweighed him by almost 2 weight classes?

It takes 2 to tango, Floyd even buckled our man Oscar and Oscar got pretty hesitant after that. Fighters fight scared against Floyd more than Floyd does them.

See, how can you be taken serious when you say absurd things, like "Floyd dominated the rematch", no he did not dominate, he won 7-5, 8-4 at best, and he did it in the most lousy way, pot shotting. Like I said, after the near Disaster in the first fight, Floyd's psychology changed to taking no real risks.

Doesn't really matter.. when Floyd beat him he was a very good fighter, and you're misinformed about Morales, those were rumors, the same way people say GGG beat up Kovalev in sparring.. But if you're gullible believe what you want:hi:

Yeah, to be fair he did what he had to do and it wasn't his fault. He got some big fights after but was never the same. Then with the deportation issues and all of that. Boxing is real mean street.

8-4 in the rematch is not a very comfortable lead?
