I would agree if it had been for just one fight, but Floyd made it a point to always have an advantage over his opponents after that. He stopped taking real risks, he stopped trying to KO fighters, he started getting booed for his new style, even in his home town he was getting booed against Famoso who was pushing Mayweather in the first couple rounds before Floyd once again got on his bike against the overmatched Famoso.

Kind of like when Floyd Senior glared at Fluid Junior w/ rage and disgust and blasted him?

"You fightin' like you scared, man!!!"

    :rofl

And this was a chemically-enhanced Fluid against an old, semi-shot, one-armed Pac.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

Not when the rounds are close... Of course Mayweather would always get the benefit of the doubt over a foreign fighter with no real fan base as was the case in the first fight, so all he needed to do was pot shot and move to ensure a victory.

What the hell is a matter with you? You know what boxing is right? The art of hit and not get hit? You fools get spoiled by watching people getting into toe 2 toe fights that you forget what the origin of boxing is.. It's an Art, the sweet science not a bare knuckle brawl..:deal

I actually thought the first fight was closer then the second.. Floyd did what he wanted often in that fight.. it wasn't that close and a lot of people agree the judges were off that night.

Why would he keep trying to KO fighters when he wasn't a big puncher in the first place at 130? he beat down guys sure but his hands paid a heavy price after 140 lbs, you know this. And he still managed to buckle and scare guys away even at 154.

Pacquiao countered him HARD 2X and punished him to the body. Pacquiao's defense was top notch and evaded a lot of Floyd's punches. Neither guy did much. The difference is Floyd was credited way more than he had done, and Pacquiao was credited less than what he had done. Floyd was the hometown fighter. Officially, it should be a no contest because Floyd was on the juice.

In prize fighting you do not get point on defense, you get points on effective agression. DO you understand that? While defense is a vital part of the sport it doesn't score points, and a weak flicking jab does not score more points than power punches.. In the amateurs you score in favor of fighters like Lara and Floyd, in professional prize fighting the fighter who lands the hardr shots get more points than the one jab pony... Its alaways been this way.. Mayweather changed the game, or the boxing industry did actually, to get rich off Floyd's undefeated record and hated persona.. In previous era's Floyd would have had some losses for fighting negatively.. Hopefully now that he is gone and no longer generating money in Vegas we can go back to the days where fighters who fought to hurt their opponents got the most press media attention.. It looks like its headed that way again.

Floyd has always had the snap and power in his punches to hurt fighters from any division 154 and below, he just chose to play it safe after the Castillo fight. Yes he's hurt his knuckles in a couple fights out of his 49 fights, but he isn't the first champion to fight with injury, hell fighters have fought with broken hands and shoulders, not just bruised knuckles like Floyd.
