By about week eight or nine I knew I was outta the woods but it was still a bear, and that first couple of months was horrid (and full of dread uncertainty how I would ever remap an idea of normalcy without fidgeting anytime I was trapped indoors somewhere for more than a contiguous hour, or having that instant - whether genuinely effective or placebo - stress reliever on-hand). It ultimately tapered off completely by about 6mo for me too.

Every once in a while though some trigger will pop up and it hits like a ton of bricks that "whoa, not all that long ago I'd have been rushing to light up (and perhaps even chain a few) in this situation..."

    10-9 Horta

This is pretty much as meh as I had anticipated.

The good news though is that my gf isn't being shady blowing me off last-minute (and thus presumably not getting bukkaked in the bathroom of some dive); I had misread her original text, as the fireworks are 9:30pm tomorrow night.

End of the 2nd began heating up nicely, maybe this one can redeem itself yet...

    20-18 Horta

Trey for Horta, but Reyes having prolonged moments of success - round three was super close.

Missed most of the last fight, was there point deductions? I didn't think Gallardo was winning from what I saw.

Forty points for Horta, with thirty-six for Reyes.

Horta loves uppercuts. But...too bad he doesn't really know how to properly throw one.

You know what else he loves? Switch-hitting. But...

Horta can throw a decent sidewinder hook to the body and occasionally to the head, along with 1-2 after 1-2...

Almost time for a more interesting fight. I'm struggling to keep my lids peeled between the Boom Sauce and the monotonous tides of this one. :sisi1

Horta is like a D- version of Léodegario Santa Cruz

Pretty entertaining 8th round, though. Especially the last exchange.

Reyes' head got jacked around by several consecutive flush hooks at the conclusion of the eighth, nearly got kayoed there but showed impressive resiliency despite the cobwebs.

He kind of follows the archetype of Manuel Medina and Edgar Sosa...though about 10 stories down from them in terms of level.
