I thought Pavlik left 160 for good, coming back at no less than 168?!? Karmazin in the MW top 10, and Pirog being behind Zbik/Gaele/Macklin both sound odd to me... I like the write-up about Sylvester though. I bet he held a couple things back. :D

On a side note, they give some kind of indication that Martinez is getting stripped for fighting Dzin, and for Martinez-Zbik being dismissed by HBO.

Ward looked 'very good' against Bika? Gimme a ****in break.

Cloud ahead of Dawson in the LHW rankings. "Somebody get this man a big fight". :rofl

Cloud ahead of Dawson is indeed odd. Old-fat-worn-out Zuniga just went 12 rounds with Cloud. I loved watching Zuniga a few years back, but todays version should not be able to last the distance with a "world titlist" at 175!

The weight thing with Pavlik has been a case of "wait and see." Dunkin just made an announcement this morning. Pavlik will "never" fight below 168 again.

Fat man Rafael's boxing knowledge is incredibly limited. He still has Alexander ahead of Khan, despite his best win still being a shot Junior Witter, as opose to Khan's win over Maidana. The top two at 140lbs are clearly Khan and Bradley. Further on in that division, he has Zab Judah ahead of Kotelnik and Ortiz, with Judah being 5 places ahead of a guy who deserved the win over him, Matthysse. He doesn't include Abraham in his top 10 list - Seiously, he was beaten soundly, yes, but by an excellent fighter. Anyone seriously rating Bika or Sartison ahead of Abraham is deluded. I don't like K9 but having him at 9 and Rhodes at 5 is ridiculous. Cloud ahead of Dawson? No way. Campillo ahead of Cleverly and Braehmer? Stupid.

Every list has a mistake in it.

    1. Wladimir Klitschko (55-3)

When Klitschko said he would reschedule his postponed defense against Dereck Chisora (14-0),
    This content is protected
saying he wouldn't allow Klitschko to take an interim bout. Fine. So Klitschko will fight Chisora, then move on to a likely September bout against Tomasz Adamek. Remember this: Haye, with a thin résumé and no real legacy as a heavyweight, needs Klitschko a whole lot more than Klitschko needs him.
    Next: April 30 vs. Chisora.

:rofl:rofl:rofl Rafael is the new Merchant of the sport.

only because he lives his life through it.
as much as i hate the judgment because big dan seems a decent guy, he's one of many people who follow boxing to compensate for a fear he never overcame (i'm willing to bet at least).

the least he could do is get in shape and use his connections to get some tips about the sport and first hand sparring which he could use in his commentary.

otherwise he's just a coach potato with a following. he should be on youtube.

Why do you care though? He keeps us informed of what fights are being discussed/negotiated, is very accessible to fans, and doesn't really care if he pisses someone off (boxer, promoter, etc) as long as he gets his opinion out there.

IMO He can keep eating twinkies with his left hand as long as he keeps tweeting news with his right.

fair enough but if people like to keep tabs on what he has to say it's a shame he doesn't use his position he learn more about the sport so he can give a little insight.

apart from picking up on news quickly, all he really does is moan and moan about the federations.

  14. Fat Mess Dan Rafael scored Cotto/Clottey: 116-111 Cotto.

    Enough said.

Personally I think Devon's best win was over Kotelnick and Urango. He definitely landed the cleaner shots on Kotelnick. Kotelnick kept trying to cutoff the ring while touching Devon up. Devon countered and landed the cleaner shots to win. Good win Devon!
