    Round 1 Kavaliauskas 10-9

Not much action, fairly cagey from both men, Ava lunged quite a lot, Egis landed in combination to his face around his guard when he did.

Thats my biggest problem - zero leverage in his punches.

I had a tiff with Blizzy in another thread about the training of fighters today (prioritizing mitts over the heavybag)

This kid doesnt step into his shots, doesnt turn his shoulders or hips, doesnt turn his fist over, doesnt punch THROUGH the target.
It's all arm punches. He's a big strong kid with athleticism, jesus!

Ava landed two decent lunging straight rights, Egis, landed several jabs, one twos, an uppercut and combos up top as Ava was coming in and going out.

Dominant round for Egis, Ava landed a few rights, but Egis tore him up landing combos, one knocked Ava off balance and down, it may have been a KD, he hurt him later, and unloaded on him, this won't go the distance.

Kava countered the hell out of Ava throughout, with one twos, upjabs, both when Ava was a southpaw and orthodox.

Closer round, Ava landed a nice left hook to the body, but Kava landed some vicious one twos, both caught and countered throughout, Kava landed more and harder.
