Taylor looked average against world class Postol, everyone picked Prograis to beat him.

Prograis got hit a hell of a lot and looked average in KOing Argentine cab driver.

Fight immediately goes back to 50/50.

I’m trying to conform, I really am. I watched Prograis latest fight three times so I could come on and follow like a little sheep.

But I can’t. He was average, being kind against a non entity in 140 division but he’s still the man to beat apparently.

I’ll be shocked if Taylor doesn’t beat Prograis comfortably. Levels to this. It takes far, far higher level of opposition to show Taylor has vulnerable sides but he’s apparently been exposed haha

Prograis looks vulnerable VS a who’s who of the division. He carried him and enjoys being hit, a monster.

Maybe Taylor and Co should wear Halloween masks to the ring, maybe push their status a little too.

Taylor is superior in most facets of the game, I have zero doubts that will show on fight night. Not even sure Prograis beats the best of the rest in the division.

He’s NOT a one punch KO guy, his balance is poor, his feet are slow and cement like and defence looks like dog poo against nobodies. He looked very poor to me last night, not impressed.

I’d rather have my own views, maybe be wrong and then hold my hands up than follow a myth that everyone is following.

    He’s just not that good!

As a huge Prograis fan, I have nothing but respect for this post. Watching the fight in the arena I could tell he was taking wayyy too many punches. This was the most rounds Prograis fought in all of his last 3 or 4 fights combined.

Hopefully it will do him some justice for his next bouts, its better to find out your weaknesses now rather than get smashed later.

I disagree about his balance being poor though, his feet are cemented for a reason, he stalks.

Appreciate the reply. By balance I don’t just mean how steady he looks, he sacrifices good counter opportunities sometimes by over extending to the sides when he slips punches. And I thought he over commuted as well when trying to get his timing down.

He’s hardly a bad fighter, not at all. I just don’t think he’s the unstoppable force some do at 140.

Postol who fought Taylor beats him IMO as he would nullify him inside and out box him at long range.
