He doesn't really have time to do that, he's already old and having two fights meaning a fight with Margarito will either happen late next year or early 2010 and that's not good for Mosley. He said he knows Richardson very well already and he's confident enough that Richardson will help him out in this fight which he admitted was going to be the toughest for him at this stage of his career.
Well it's not like Mosley has ever lied to us before I hear ya Scar...but going into battle with a new trainer on a make or break fight like this doesn't seem wise. If Shane says he knows em then I guess I gotta trust him on this one.
Nah Shane is almost 40 he is past those make or break fights, its about money and if he wins it would add to his place in history.
Woudnt John David Jackson become his new trainer? He is always running around with Mosley and Hopkins.
Where did you see that in the interview?? I saw in another article that Margo is on vacation and should be arriving in Vegas on thursday to go over the offer with Arum... I found the article .. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=101387
That's what I meant by make or break. A win against Margarito would probably shoot him into top 50 ATG status. His legacy can't go down but it can certainly go UPWARDS with a win. So why the sudden change?
It was reported on ESPN which is what the header on the thread states, if you notice I didnt post any articles or interveiws in fact i didnt even read that until it was posted on this thread which clearly would have had to happen AFTER I started it.:hi:
