For the record, Nikitin is the guy that Mick Conlan got robbed against at the Olympics, and he was on this card to build to a Conlan rematch. So for anyone interested in that narrative being constructed by TR, check his fight on the last page out.

    Round 1 Nikitin 10-9, close

Clay boxed well off the backfoot for the first minute and a half, but Nikitin found his range, started landing looping hooks over the top and to the body, then Nikitin's right eye got cut badly late.

Vlad a bloody mess, Clay is teeing off on him off the backfoot, most being caught on the gloves, then he wings in overhands, Vlad far more accurate, and edged it, barely.

Vlad in full control now, he's dialed that overhand right in to perfection, and his bombing the **** out of Clay with it. Clay's lucky Nikitin is a featherfisted, because he'd have been KO'd cold if it were anyone else.

Vlad slowed the pace, still landed a hell of a lot of overhands, still bringing the pressure.

Nikitin worked the body with looping uppercut like left hooks to the body, followed by looping overhand rights to the temple in the 5th, he settled down a little and put his punches together and landed some combos on the inside along with his looping hooks in the 6th.

    60-54 Nikitin

While Conlan probably beats him at this point, I'm not 100% sure, if its a 10 rounder, Nikitin might tak his ass and take over in the second half. It might end up being a lot more interesting than the Bobfather is anticipating.

Nikitin looks like a scrunched headed version of a young Jack Taylor with a buzzcut.
