It was clear as day that against Lomachenko, Ortiz was throwing with intentions, and against Teofimo he put nothing behind his punches.

The rest of us did not, because the only one consistently landing was Ortiz. Sure, you can look to Compubox, but they're notoriously inaccurate. Many of the guys on here have a sharper eye than they do when it comes to what's landing clean. So when almost everyone is calling bull**** on them, it's usually bull****.

Sure, but then you have to watch the fight very closely and make a judgment call on who's landing at a more consistent clip. Our collective eyes didn't deceive us, that would be Ortiz.

The Loma fight has nothing to do with this one. So any comparison is irrelevant.

De Los Santos' aggression kept Shakur on the back foot, paralyzed in terror and gun-shy. Did they fight on equal terms?

One fighter couldn't cut off the ring, the other fighter took advantage of that and kept evading his punches while moving laterally, and landing his own.

Ortiz didn't engage and didn't get the belt...I'm not sure what everyone's problem is?
The fight stunk and there was no real winners and I'd be amazed if ortiz gets another chance after that display, who's gonna pay to watch him again

I'd be interested to know what Lopez and Ortiz' in ring weight was.. I bet they were in excess of 160.. which means in a week or so they'll probably be walking around at over 170.. these guys are meant to be LWs & LWWs..

The fight was awful and Ortiz picked Lopez off at times but if you are going to employ the Tactics of using the entire ring then you have to throw back at the same time as well ... it's a point scoring game at the end of the day.. I don't have a problem with Lopez winning tbh but I can see why some people thought it was a dud & Ortiz nicked it .. he made Lopez swing for the hills at times & I suppose the dancing around is as effective (depending on your preference) as cutting the ring off .. but I prefer the style of cutting the ring off and pushing the action.. Ortiz just didn't land enough to take the belt, you gotta be more convincing & less negative so he only has himself to blame.. but then again Lopez is is one of those Fighters blessed with excellent athleticism & physicality so fighters struggle to impose themselves upon him.. & let's be honest he probably walks around as a LHW anyway

Bro Ortiz looked big as hell in the fight. He looked like a welterweight or middleweight in there, especially considering he looked drained on that scale compared to Teo.

But then again what can you expect Ortiz is from the school of the Haneys so....

But What is your opinion of Floyd's performances ? Ortiz evaded Lopez bull rushes while scoring his own shots. Floyd ran & danced & just pot shotted he didn't do as much as Ortiz did. I watched the fight on TV & apparently Shakur made the comment "Teo is getting really frustrated he cannot get to Ortiz he's losing this fight big time". he was right. The Vegas judges made Floyd TBE by giving him decisions for running & dancing but didn't give Ortiz the same benefits for boxing Lopez butt off. I Wonder Why ?? lol

Didn't get to see this fight live, but watched tonight and scored 116-112 Ortiz. No way Lopez won the fight.

Given that that has happened before when I've watched more entertaining fights after a long workday -- had I watched this fight live, that would have been a distinct possibility!

Don't know why your laughing Youre the one being taken in by a con man. Ortiz boxed Lopez butt off plus he actually outscored him too. Floyd ran & danced literally plus several of his so called wins were gifts from the Vegas officials. I supposed you never noticed the clouds of suspicion hanging over his head did you Have you ever heard of IV gate ?? I wouldn't walk across the street to watch him prance about

    I'm watching Teo-Martin.

Teo needs to learn to cut off the ring and throw combinations instead of throwing one punch at a time.

What I don’t understand is that Teo was cutting off the ring very well in the Lomachenko fight. He was using a disciplined jab, double jabs to the body, was very patient, and was smothering Loma into corners. And Loma has some of the best footwork in the game. I have no idea what the hell he was doing against Ortiz, he was having moments of success but just got impatient and frustrated as the fight went on
