I wasn't sure if they were just nasty freckles or what. They're a putrid light brown too, like wads of phlegm.

 

I think we're probably much happier about that than Grandpa is.

 

Keyshawn looks baked as hell in his pre fight interview.

I don't think he turned over that new leaf after all. Or, uh... he did.

 

Martínez is tall, rangy, wiry-strong and seems to be heavy-handed, and digs the body well ...but he's also very basic, dumb, poor at adaptation, and reacts poorly to being pressured/hit.

I can see why La Colonia saw something in him to invest in, but I can also see why he might just be a waste of their time.

 

Well yeah, I mean, if somebody hates jazz they're not going to like Miles Davis...nor are they going to see much in Hank Williams if they just can't stand country.

 

This is good matchmaking in the sense that it's just as much as the flawed Martínez can handle right now without getting exposed. And it's been fun, if a little monotonous ...nowhere near as sloppy and headbutt-prone as southpaw vs. orthodox match-ups can be. (particularly with lanky come-forward types)

 

Eh, maybe to jazz. Let's be real, old outlaw country is great but most country now/for the last three decades is pop country and in the words of Hank III ..."pop country ****ing sucks". Nobody winning CMA's is exactly matching Dream Theater or Mars Volta for complexity of musicianship.

 

Martínez looking gassed in round six...same round Sheehy showed signs of it.

Martínez has actually been eight before, unlike Sheehy...just once, and that's his one career blemish (a draw)
