I can see what you mean. I think EVERYONE is out of the loop except for Ariza and Pac.

Remember Roach and even Arum were HAPPY to get the fight drawn up. All the drama went down after Arum presented the contract. Then he flew to PI. When he returnd? Everything changed. Like they told him something in person they would never say over a phone, mail, or email. They have been squirming ever since.

I agree. I think Roach is bullshitting, they wanted more time. I think this is evident in them hiring Steve Forbes as sparring partner for Clottey, their preparing early and Roach has already seen lots of tape on Mayweather.

My guess is team pac will give in to testing, but not before a bit of posturing, afterall the drug testing is a BIG deal, so they gotta make it look like when they give in to it, PBF must give in to something too. For example if PBF comes back asking for 60/40, he may have to settle for 50/50 if Pac agrees to testing.

Roach is still a legend though and im confident he will have the perfect gameplan against Mayweather.

    A+ for truth!:good

The Rome interview is what I mean about journalism these days being as weak as its ever been......

A good journalist/interviewer would have never let Roach get away with saying "we did'nt accept the drug testing because they could'nt guarantee that they would not knock on Pacquiao's door the night before the fight."
    :patsch

Rome should have been all over that by stating what everyone already know by now, "but Freddie, they were guaranteeing Pac that they would not knock on his door 14 days before the fight."

    .......but Rome let it go.:-(

Roach- "We're not going to let Mayweather dictate the drug testing. We're going to let the commision do that."

......and the cream of Roach's quotes......
"Pac has passed every drug test ever done to him. He would not have passed those tests had he been on steroids."

This is basically Roach saying that boxing's current protocol cant be questioned. That its legit.
.....when even those that work for the commision and take these urine samples have argued its flawed beyond belief.

:lol::lol::lol::lol:LOL at Freddie Roach for embarrassingly having the audacity to sit there and say Pacquiao passing every urine test after a fight proves he's not on PED's!:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

You are absolutely correct bhs, Arum took the contract to the Phillipines while Roach was here in the US saying that a 5 day window to him was fair.
Arum had no idea the response that awaited him by Pac when he brought up the stipulations of the contract!

Poor Pac, he must have felt naueaus for days after learning that one of the stipulations in the contract was OSDT.:D

Everything roach said is truth. So Manny's a hypochondriac. Floyd should man up and drop the blood tests. Go with the commission rules and make the fight. Bottom line Floyd was the ***** for bringing the issue up in the first place.

3 days? Fine. I'll even give him 5 days to recover. No problem. But he's adamant about having more than 14 days?? Oh come on! GTFO. To me this 14 day window is where the argument ends for the Pac-Floyd blood test debacle. It's no different than telling me your dog ate your homework. That's how outrageous it sounds.

And how do we know Team Pac didn't need to buy more time? After all, Pac was coming off a fight just 4 months before March 13th and had sustained an ear injury which they weren't sure would heal in time. Moreover, they brought in Forbes to spar with which gives me the notion they are training for Floyd's defensive style. Roach says Floyd needs Mosley to get ready for Pac?? Hah! Shane is a more dangerous opponent than Pac in my opinion. If anything Floyd would rather fight Pac before Shane. Not the other way around.

Funny how Roach thinks Floyd would come up with size demand for gloves when his team was the side that made Floyd agree to 8 oz gloves. The whole mess is really beginning to sound like hype though. I expect Floyd to mysteriously drop the blood test clause or see Pac suddenly or magically be able to get over his fear for needles. He'll probably say he woke up one day and felt a touch by God which gave him strength to overcome his fear. Then again I wouldn't be shocked to see Pac retire before we get to see the fight.

The "truth"? When were you born? Last week?

Hypocondriacs like to take medicine. OK, maybe his is the opposite of that? Ariza is shoving all types of powders and shakes down him. We ALL know how gross and medicine like that crap tastes.

Commission rules also state that a WW bout should have 10oz gloves you moron. Want to go with those rules too?

How about we have Manny man up and find a way to get over his fear for a small needle? Doesn't that make more sense? Being afraid of getting beaten by a steroid user actually sounds reasonable whereas if you're one of the most dangerous men on the planet and you tell me you can't take a few extra blood tests I would tell you to STFU and stop acting like a 4 yr old girl. We're dealing with Boxing, a game of hurt, a cutthroat business. We're not dealing with pre school. There's no way we should be this lenient towards Manny Pac.

There are men in the service who faint over a blood test. I'm aware of this. But it does NOT take them more than 14 days to recover.

Yeah there are like 2 or 3 more quotes out there that allude to needing more time, plus having Steve Forbes in training camp like someone said above.
