Why is roach still using the excuse that random testing cant guarantee them they wont be tested the day before the fight?

Its well known Floyd was going to give them 14 days and that was in the contract.

"I dont think steroids are used that often in boxing to be honest with you" - Freddy Roach, former trainer of James Toney with a No Contest fight with John Ruiz due to testing positive for steroids.

And Toney tested positive for actual steroids. Not that andro bull**** that RJJ and his opponent had.

.....and Roach is'nt stupid, he knows better than that, but obviously he's got to play it stupid right now to cover up Pacquiao and what he's doing.

Any trainer with his salt knows what legally and illegally benefits both his fighters and their opponents for that matter.
They certainly know that there are plently of athletes that know that if the testing protocol allows them to get away with cheating, they're going to cheat.

Roach is'nt oblivious to that fact having had one fighter under him already test positive for steroids, and we all know that.

Thats another point that a good journalist would have hammered Roach in......"How could you say that you dont think Steroids is prevalent in boxing in this day and age Freddie, one of your own fighters James Toney tested positive."

......then of course the usual mumbo jumbo that athletes always say would have followed for the reason that Toney cheated....."he did'nt know what he was taking, his doctor prescribed it for an injury he had."

Game is over folks, pack it up. Manny Pacquiao is doing something ****ed up. His team can't give a straight answer to why they don't want to do random blood testing. Let's go through some of the excuses:

    We Don't trust USADA-

    Pacquiao is afraid of Needles-

We don't want Mayweather dictating the rules-

"We don't want Manny tested fight night", which turned into "We need 3 or 4 days" which turned into "we can't do less than 30", which after a tape surfaced turned into "we'll 'compromise to 24 days". -

    Quite ridiculous.

But as bad as these are, none of them are as ****ing stupid as him saying that he doesn't believe it's really used that often...:?

Sorry if I don't buy into Floyd's bull****.

Do I wish Manny did the blood testing? Yes, but I blame Floyd just as much for bringing up the issue in the first place. It was a ridiculous accusation, and there are already drug testing rules in place.
