Wade Ryan vs. Troy O'Meley II 10 Rounds @ Super Welterweight

 

I saw highlights from the first fight, it looked like it was a ****ing war. So yeah, I ain't missing this.

 

Round 1 Ryan 10-9

Feel out round early, Ryan controlling range well, landing lefts to the body. Troy amping up he pressure, closes the range, finally gets him on the ropes and unloads a volley of shots. But Ryan did far too much clean work early.

Troy looking for clean shots, throws and lands several looping overhand rights. Wade landing looping left up top and lefts to the body. Troy walking him down, throwing flurries of compact one twos. A few lefts from Wade, then a left hook from Troy rocks him. A body shot hurts Troy. He follows up. Troy recovers. They're trading looping overhands.

Troy trying to establish his jab, he gets in two hard rights and shoeshines the body. They get in close, Ryan clubs him a few times. Troy gos to the body. Ryan flurries up top, Troy fires back with a flurry of his own. A left lands, Troy's eye is cut again. Troy landing with clubbing lefts. Accidental head clash is the ruling. Troy landing to the body and head. Lands a heavy hook. Ryan lands some decent shots to the body and looping hooks. Another damn close one.

Doc rules the cut fine. Allows it to continue. Troy walking forward with the high guard up, landing compact hooks. Wade with the one twos. Nasty overhand from Troy. Combo from Wade. A straight left from Wade. One twos from Wade. Wade varying up his shots, landi to the body and head with nice combos.Right hooks to the body of Troy. Troy lands a few hard jabs. Then looping rights. Nice from Troy late, but too little too late.

The doctor takes a look, allows it to continue again. Troy crouches down charges forward, landing a series of hooks to the head and body, Ryan in retreat. Ryan then settles the pace and starts teeing off. But Troy still game, throws some one twos in return. Two hard lefts up top from Ryan. Vicious left from Ryan. Ryan wobbles him with a hard left, then he drops him seconds later. Troy seems to be recovered. Still throwing. Ryan timing him, Troy now skittish. Troy holds after he charges him.

Better from Troy early, picking his shots, doing well, but then Ryan takes over, picking and pecking away with loping hooks. The round ends, teh ref waves it. Probably way too early, but it was getting one sided.
