He survived and give Loma his toughest fight in years umm that sound bad for Loma. That was His gameplay He tried failed but was solid compared to others. He survived for you because Loma could no ko Him or could not land as easy. Both are boxers that was expected.

So that's supposed to be a reason of why he didn't got into 2nd gear early? Ain't pedraza's fault loma isn't getting into it.

This performance by Loma makes me think that he could really be a defensive fighter when he gets older, switch styles like Mayweather did, his defence was exceptional as it usually is but today he threw a lot less than he usually does so his defence was highlighted more.

Pedraza has been after Loma for a long time, he has studied him and had the style to cause problems. When this fight was made I said that Pedraza would give him more problems than Mikey would due to the styles. Constant movement and length is key to beating Loma, and Pedraza did it as well as it can be done. I honestly didn’t expect Loma to win as easily as he did. I have zero concerns about Mikey, I just wish that fight was next. The excuse after the fight will be that Garcia had been diminished by his loss against Spence.

Yeah right took 11 rds to get into the matrix. Like i said it can be a shutout and still be a close fight.

One of Loma's trickiest fights so far. He won 9 or so rounds, but many of them were close rather than domination. He did step it up when it mattered in the 11th round to create the definite separation but you could tell he looked the much smaller man inside the ring.

Hopefully we see Loma vs. Garcia somewhere next year.

I knew Pedraza would do better than many thought he would. Like I said earlier, he's very skilful and talented when he opts to actually use his skills and people were reading too much into the Twink fight, because he completely abandoned them in that one and fought like a caveman with a IQ of 50 walking in face first eating flush bombs all night.

And Loma was clearly nowhere near his best tonight either after the time off recovering from the injury. There was very little side to side movement, the right hook was nonexistent and he just looked plain rusty and flat.

That said, I had him winning 10-2, possibly 9-3, and when he did actually switch to Matrix mode in the 11th round we got a glimpse of the real Loma and he looked absolutely sensational.

Very few fighters would've fought an opponent as tough and talented as Pedraza for the first fight back after suffering an injury as bad as Loma did, including most of the Loma detractor's current favs, if not all of them and I suspect it would be the later.

I didn't see any hint of dog in Pedraza, there were plenty of times when he should have marched on Loma and his heart wouldn't let him do it. Loma had better stay the f_ _ _ away from Davis because Davis is pure pit.
