Since I'm a comic geek and was a huge Apocalypse fanboy, I might be biased, but I loved every second of it, and I thought Oscar Isaac did a stellar job in the role, Sansa did a fine job as Jean Grey as well, how anyone could have a negative opinion on Logan, the only film in the franchise that actually comes close to be a real movie, is beyond me, its easily on par with a lot of road movies from the 70's and 80's.

Of course I've seen it. Only reason I watched it was for Rebecca :risas3:.

I had two reasons, I love Rebecca and I'm a DePalma fanboy as well, so I had a perverted and a geeky reason.

I'm so annoyed by films now days that its gotten to the point where all I ask out of these big blockbusters is please keep my attention until the end and don't lose steam, keep me entertained and just like Rogue One, Apocalypse fulfilled my one desire, please don't bore me.

If you were a true comic book buff, then you would not have like they're half ass rendition of Apocalypse. I like Oscar Isaac but he couldn't even save that role looking like a power ranger villain. **** that

No doubt it was half assed, I'm not arguing that in the least, but I'm long past the point of getting that riled up over character design not going my way, I thought he played it well, and that was good enough for me. I'm not a hardcore absolutist on anything anymore.

This thread has convinced me that I need to make some changes in my life. I missed a screening of Tarkovsky's Stalker last week for Garcia-Broner, and putting it in perspective I made the wrong choice. I'm not going to stop watching boxing, but I'm going to try to stop 'following' boxing. I'll comment a bit here before and after some fights, but no more. I don't dive into it like most of you but I've been here the last few months way more than I used to, and now I know it's too much. Keeping up with boxing news and gossip is just staring at a screen alone in my bedroom. What's the point? I'm neglecting too much that I used to care about and be involved in just a couple years ago. I've shied away from activisty projects, my related passions in film and art, my bookshelf is filled with dozens of books that have stayed unread. And I haven't made an effort to find and cultivate happy relationships. I'm going to commit to the nofap lifestyle that was great for me for a long time, and that I recently relapsed from. The comment was directed at CST but I'm the same 37 years old and it hit me. I confess I haven't got laid in three years. I go to my meaningless job, follow boxing online, watch boxing, repeat every week the last few months, and don't make time for much else. I bash millenial social media zombies but I've become almost as internet addicted. And frustration, guilt, and depression is mounting from it. Frankly: I'm depressed, and primarily because I spend too much time following boxing.

Hang in there. The no fap will take you to new dimensions and open up doorways. That **** works. Just stay vigilant.

I kind of pity those who don't live in a city where you can go out and just make friends like that. I live in Tokyo, and literally if I wanted to any Friday or Saturday night I could just go to crwoded bar and make friends with locals with a pretty much 100% success rate. When I went to college in Boston, I'd always hang out with like people from my school and rarely mingle with others when I went out unless it was a girl. I think that most guys would find it weird that I'd talk to them and tried to become friends with them without the intentions of me being gay, or they'd be onto me trying to be friends so I can get in their friends pants. Location really is key.

I'm still in my 20's, but dude I feel like if you were married had kids you'd be just as depressed. I hang out with a lot of people in their 30's and the depression I see is A. They aren't settled down yet, and B. They feel stuck.
