Ihor more active and actually tried to win the final round. Jalolov just held on to finish the fight. Workmanlike performance by the Big Uzbek, and good job by the Ukrainian Hulk. For going the distance and doing his best.

So what I learned about Jalolov:

-He has an issue finishing guys off when they get back up, which is what I like to call a "Zhang problem".

-His defense is dog****.

-When hurt he resorts to amateur mode of racking up points on the outside, and also ties up a bunch.

Stick the amateurs bro.

 

Jalolov doesn't seem as sharp nor as strong as he was a couple of years ago.

The inactivity and lack of meaningful pro opponents evidently hasn't been good for him.

 

Jalolov didn't look good tonight. Ancient Pulev had less trubles against Ukrainian Butterbean than he did

Jalolov needs to develop an offensive right hook, he uses the right defensively to pivot off the line but apart from that he barely uses it.

Hes very 1 2 happy, also he should have tried pulling the left a little wider at times.

lot for him to work on if he wants to go far in the pro’s.

 

Bakhodir waited too long to make his push in the pros. He's already declining from his prime.

His dream match is Usyk, but he isn't ready for that and won't be prior to Usyk retiring. (likely never)

97-93? Either a judge ignored the knockdown or they had Shevadzutskyi winning three rounds and tying a fourth. Interesting.

 

Put Jalolov in with Zhang so we can see the Big Bang derail another hype train.

Not that Jalolov hasn't done a good enough job of that himself

 

This is what I expected from him.

Limited mobile fighter who loves holding when the opponent gets too close. He has limited punch selection, poor defense and okay stamina.

He may be top 10, but he's too limited to become elite.
