    I don't think this was FOTY. But levels aside thought it was better than Golovkin/Alvarez II. That fight in unison with the magnitude of the event might edge this, but in terms of pure action I enjoyed this more.

    Negrete won the first I thought, but Franco swept the last 4 rounds on my card to win 6-4 96-94 felt the kid not only deserved but earned the victory, but it is what it is, as per usual.

    The nature of these 8 and 10 round fights. Draws are hard to avoid when these are close. Punters should always throw a good chunk on these types of fights being a draw.

    That's right. Whenever you point a finger at someone you have three more pointing back at yourself, which is why I always make sure to blame five people: the ref, the three judges, and the promoter usually.

    Yeah I picked Franco to win tonight, so there is some sour grapes on my part, since I thought he won it quite clearly, but whatever, a draw is fine, but what isn't ****ing fine is that one 6-4 for Negrete, that just reeks of bull****. Oscar didn't want either of them taking an L, so he basically told the judges barring a KO to score it a draw. This dog**** has been happening on a regular basis now on GB cards for the last 3 or 4 months, its beyond transparent.

    Anyone think this fight will be surpassed by any of the remaining fights this week(across the entire realm of combat sport) Doubtful. There's going to be some clinics and devastating early knockouts but as far as back and forth action is concerned?
