    Round 2

Zorrilla is throwing very light pecking combos at the waistline of Linger from outside, and jabbing his way in to split the guard. Linger is hanging in there, doing his best to block & parry what he can. Zorrilla easily circling away from the high-thrusting combos of Linger, whose reach is too stubby and sense of timing & distance too undeveloped. Zorrilla just peppering him, starting to press forward. Linger is lit up against the ropes as the round winds down, nose exploding with a gout of blood from an uppercut separating his arms followed by a big left hook. The ref gives him a count after the bell, and he's saved by it.

    10-8 Zorrilla

    20-17 Zorrilla

edit: nope, the ref exercised his discretion and waved it off as Linger sagged against the ropes pawing a glove at his gushing nose. "Mm, no, you're done, buddy..."

    TKO2!!

Ummm, Chuck, I really don't think you should be commenting on people's head sizes.

You could see Linger go out on his feet. His eyes rolled back into his head.

So far three undefeated prospects/A-sides/winners (Caraballo, González, and Zorrilla) - and I've got to be honest, not one really impressed me tonight.

That's why he reminded me so much of Felix Trinidad. They're both from Puerto Rico.

Hey, what do you know, honky ass Toughmen from the boonies can't beat guys from boxing families with deep amateur pedigrees, STOP THE ****ING PRESSES.

I'm getting the weirdest déjà vu, almost like that was a lesson we learned dozens of times over, say, thirty-odd years ago...

I seriously never thought I'd again see anybody in a televised boxing match with the claim to fame/onscreen graphic "former Toughman competitor"

I think I read about him and his wife. They ran things on the west coast in the 60s and 70s, had all the best guys under welterweight.

Not the first time on ESPN I've seen a trained boxer fight supposedly undefeated toughman contest champ, pretty much ended the same way only a round early I believe

Back when you could get somewhere with a big mouth(even if spouting absurd tall tales). I highly doubt either of these guys are what they say they were. Even if at an abysmally low toughman level.
