The Sky Sports coverage has just started and there are three fights which are scheduled for 10 rounds before the main event, so yeah, I'm guessing a 4:00am -- 4:30am start.

 

Lopez taking it too Saucedo, I think Lopez won the first 2 rounds and has been banging him around the ring.

Anyway I felt happy and content today, I won a nice few quid on a football accumulator this afternoon so I escaped "The Enemy" (my wife) and went out and had a few beers.

While I was out there were a few boxing conversations and in my little boozed up state I got all patriotic, full of myself and thought

"Quigg will smash this brittle jawed mong later", got my phone out and stuck £50 on Quigg at 7/2.

Now since this match was announced I've said Valdez wins, now I've sobered up a little I'm not happy with myself, nothing to do with the money, the fact I changed my mind, NEVER CHANGE YOUR MIND AND GAMBLE, it always backfires.

Also, Stella Artois, my money and happiness never mix well, I proposed with a belly full of Stella..

Surely I'm old enough to learn from past mistakes, I have no excuses.
