Man, I'm about to have my first (amateur) fight in the coming weeks, I hope I don't look this sloppy in there.

    Round 1

They're slugging it out toe to toe! Baca is just winging shots from either side, wading in with his chin out. Crooks is using a bit more movement and has the somewhat better punching technique. Nice hook by Crooks gets Baca stumbling, and his glove must have scraped the canvas as he's given a standing count. Tony Crebs then warns both men for head butts. Baca leans on Crooks and hits him with low rights. Crooks has his right arm trapped but is working his left, slapping it wherever he can. Baca carries him to the ropes before Crebs calls for a break. There is a cut from the head butt on Baca. They trade a couple of power punches from mid range before the bell, with Crooks in a more defensive posture.

    10-8 Crooks

This guy Baca could get hurt. Pretty poor technique in there.

    Round 2

Baca keeps advancing, and Crooks keeps hooking him in the face and then leaning in to absorb Baca's shots on the shoulder blade. Baca's mouthpiece comes out and Crebs walks him over to his corner to have it replaced. Crooks pops a slow jab and is unable to keep Baca out with it. Baca shrugs past the jab and collapses on top of Crooks, but isn't doing a lot of clean body punching so much as just swiping. Crooks is warned for pushing down on Baca's neck in the clinches. Crebs gets more aggressive with his warnings as Crooks insists on pushing down.

    10-9 Crooks

    Round 3

Baca tosses coconuts across the ring, and Crooks either isn't hungry or does not like Pina Coladas. Baca just keeps lobbing that right hand, rolling out the red carpet for it. Crooks doesn't look eager to stand and counter punch, just backing up and hooking and then clinching when Baca gets close. Crooks throws a jab and then immediately goes into an elbows-out guard, crab-walking away from Baca's ham-handed flurry.

    10-9 Crooks

    30-26 Crooks
