    Wouldn't argue with someone giving that round to smith though.

    Yeah. He was in against a tough swarmer. Wore down a little by the end. Not sure who promotes him.

    Cintron looking decent, but I don't like how he's pretty much letting Smith get inside on him without a fight. He needs to pump that jab with bad intentions.

    smith closed the gap and they are shoulder to shoulder. good work form both. nice left hooks to the body by smith but cintron lands the crisper meatier shots. smith still in this of sorts.

    He came in 170 against Angulo. He needs to just fight at 154. No one wants him at welterweight, no big names anyway.

    It would seem IMO too, yellin' that hard all the time could work towards sapping one's breath/stamina possibly.

    Cintron jabs and moves left. A few jabs are followed by crosses, but those just whistle over the guard as Smith ducks in to meet him (as opposed to the jabs that just get stuck in the guard). Smith feints with an overhand right and falls into a clinch. Smith is yet to land. Cintron throws an uppercut into the guard and moves off to his left. Long jab by Cintron. Body shot by Smith. Cuffing left hook by Smith up top. Cintron is staying long as he keeps moving leftward, holding his jab out unfurled. Cintron uses some shoulder, hoisting it up into the bottom of Smith's chin as he uses some sudden quick footwork to get inside and bounce up. Smith is barking as he goes to the body. Cintron leans in against him, bent low. Smith pops him with some inadvertent rabbit punches. Long combo by Cintron, hitting all guard. Smith ducks into him, making him miss but then pulls straight up into the path of a jab.,

    Cintron can't miss with the 1-2-1 it seems but he looks slow and has nothing on his shots it seems.

    30-27 Cintron but hardly a great performance.

    I agree. A shift should come soon. Smith will start winning rounds. The question will then become: can Cintron take momentum back?

    ...uhm? i think cintron won. he outmuscles and bosses him around but smith lands the cleaner shots...surprisingly. good body work by both
