    Gibson keeps plugging away out of a high guard, throwing a 1-2 or a high-reaching hook every twenty seconds or so. A few jabs come from Gibson as he converts to a low-left stance after an exchange. Hughes mirrors him, and tries to pull away from the intermittent right hands of Gibson. He gets clipped only slightly with them and isn't hurt, but they stil score on the temple and sideburn area. Hughes flashes his hands from too far away, missing.

    He did seem kind of out of it. Lucky for him his opponent doesn't punch as often as he makes mean faces.

    Gibson's eyes have been glazed since his first knockdown. His corner isn't doing him any favors by letting this go on. It is early in his career, shut it down and get him ready for another fight.

    Hughes is ducking inside to flurry just above the cup, and is barely squeaking out as jabs and right hands fly by his head. He grins and showboats a bit, stupidly. Gibson is almost too patient, letting Hughes take his time in coming to him with sporadic flurries down low. Hughes is throwing several shots at a time, but all light and hitting the gloves. Gibson isn't countering, just blocking. Lots of activity from Hughes but there's nothing to it. He just isn't connecting.
